Have you ever asked AI to draw a random, just-for-fun scribble? It can’t. Sure, it can give you an approximation, a good approximation even, but every pixel is so precise that it voids the whole point of a random scribble. Do you know why? It’s because random, just-for-fun art is so innately human that AI can’t even come close. Something Zoe and I have in common, I believe, aside from a passion against AI, is that art doesn’t have to be meaningful to be art. It can be fun, and it can make you happy, without serving or making any point. So why can’t there be an amalgamation of books, houses pulled by balloons, people climbing beanstalks, and so much more, set in space? It’s about as human as one can possibly get.
